Geographically located at 43º 39,198´ N Latitude and 007º 21,130´ W Longitude, to 0,6 NM South of the Burela´s Cape, Burela´s Port is one of the most traditional and important fishing ports in Northern Spain.

From the commercial point of view, yimber and solid bulk cargoes are one of the most common trades handling at this port.

In 2010 the Port Authority finished the enlargement working at the North Quay part which will allow a longer berthing to vessels alongside, a deeper draft and a much bigger area for open storage cargoes.
